Following a request for the evaluation of the educational resources of an education system, sociocultural community developpers-researchers put of the front the use of efficient techniques to proceed to the picking of data concerning the vision and the perception of two schools attended by members of the Anishnabe community in the northwest of Quebec (Canada) and executive managers of establishments, who based their action on the model of regular Quebec’s schools. A parallel appears between the functions of a sociocultural community developper and those of a researcher who uses an approach of research-action. This text questions the sense of sociocultural community development in a changing society and try to define an educational project which meets the requirements of the governmental program and the aspiration of the youth stemming from first nations.
