Abstract

The world has been affected by a series of climate change such as flooding, heat waves or high temperatures, storms, fires and droughts. Colombia suffered a strong winter season in 2010 and part of 2011, due to the La Niña phenomenon. Furthermore, investigations have not been developed at the departmental level to determine the characteristics of children and adolescents in their emotional state. Therefore this research posed aimed at describing the emotional state of children and adolescents (NNA) affected by the rainy season of 2011 in the San Jorge Mojana and sub-regions of the department of Sucre. To achieve the goal of research methodology positivist paradigm, descriptive it adopted. Using the test person in the rain for data collection, finding that children and adolescents do not have enough defenses to suit the mood.
