Our article is a comprehensive overview of how mediated communication has influenced and affected the way of writing. Drawing on a variety of texts, our authors explored changes in pacing and sentence structures, with a particular focus on the effect this had on punctuation. The result is a detailed synopsis of some of the most influential writing styles that have emerged in response to new technologies.
The research report is a study of the best way to improve the quality of writing in the age of the Internet. It examines the impact of mediated communication on writing style, concluding that social media has changed the way people write and say things.
This article studies the impact of mediated communication on the mode of writing. The study examines three hypotheses in an analysis of a corpus composed of text samples from an online forum and a variety of other sources. The results suggest that mediated communication impacts writing in a variety of ways, including work habits, cognitive processes, and evaluation of how writing is done.
