Abstract

This article analyzes and describes a cultural experience that underpins its conceptual construction in contributions from the interactionism symbolic and cultural mediation. These theorists anchorages are a rationale for the training and public participation. The outdoor cafe is a betting on coexistence and social inclusion.
This experience raises the need for sensitive and harmonious links between people and their environments. Its implementation and development is a basis to question and re-ask: What takes priority on the public street, the car, the citizens or pedestrians?
Think this cultural experience is appropriate, for claims the right of men and women being on the street. The product of this process is often planned and carried out by now, is a collective artistic intervention which gives rise to visual pieces such as painting, photography and audiovisual.
