This text presents an experience developed by El Grupo de Vivienda y Hábitat de la Boca, which aims systematizing collectivly practices that this group realized to develop social demand for better housing conditions of this disadvantaged neighborhood of the City of Buenos Aires (Argentina). This intervention was realized from a perspective of sociocultural community development, popular education and communication, framed in a conception of lifelong education. The process of collective systematization gave birth to an authority of pooling of the experience from critical reflection on the practice and has proved a space of production of emancipatory knowledge, of hardening of the organization and community participation. The initiative leaned on the structures which allowed to give voice to participants, by strengthening their power to act, their autonomy and the access to the citizenship.
