Abstract

The text approaches at first the theoretical and practical conceptions based, on one hand, on the protagonism of the utopian realism, that is utopian options based on the contributions of Paulo Freire’s «viable’s radically new» and, on the other hand, «anticipation» of Jerzy Szachi. These ideas point towards existing paths within the social movements, NGO, associations, political projects, etc., aiming at the construction of a more human, free, just and altruistic society. Then, it is focuses on the conception of the public: universality, social visibility, social control, durability, civic culture and quest for an effective participative democracy. The existing conflicts are revealed as well as the positive steps realized in various countries, overcoming the complexity and the contemporary difficulties and bringing concrete elements for innovative sociocultural community development.
